I Miss My Handwriting

What a cool, unique Hub design!
I've been a handwriting wuss for at least a couple of years now. Can't think without a calculator, either.
LOL Scott! Wonderful idea for a hub and perfectly implemented. :) I used to be one of those kids with a dozen penpals around the world, writing several letters a week...always conscious of my penmanship (was it even legible). Now the thought of actually having to hand write anything fills me with a sense of futility...I don't think I could even make it to the bottom of a single page. Thanks for the morning laugh!
Great hub! You know, I read it and felt a strange nostalgia for times past and all those many pages I used to fill up in my diary!
Wish I could write that neatly! My hand gets tired after a paragraph and my arm tenses up. Sometimes i can't even use the keyboard for the same reasons!

I know what you mean--I used to write at least three pages in my journal every day, and before that I had to scribble notes furiously in countless lecture halls in college--but now, I write a page and a half and I'm tempted to fill the empty space with big bubble letters or doodles--anything to reduce the amount of writing I need to do! I think part of the problem is we're scrambling to write as quickly as we can on a keyboard, which leads to major cramping and less-than impressive penmanship.
Your cursive style reminds me of my friend Katie--who is a little sarcastic, a bit sensitive, a little dramatic, a great writer, socially-aware, and a very humerous person--so maybe handwriting really is linked to personality traits. The only red flag for psychotic tendencies that I know of is O's with double loops in them, so I think you're in the clear. :)
